Thanks to Cornelia Popa, general manager of Cinelab Romania, we have some news about festival success of the new European cinema. Mrs Popa will be special guest of Sofia Meetings 2019 and will deliver the Award for Best film pitching on 16th of March.
Cinelab Romania is the most modern and well-equipped postproduction lab in Europe, which offers a high quality film processing service and provide enhanced digital solutions.
It is the first Kodak lab for processing film in a 100 years of Eastman Kodak existence. It opened in Romania in 1999, and the model was replicated in 10 other countries. In the past five years, the lab reinvented itself and developed some niche services like digital-film-digital or restoration and conservation. The lab works on several market levels: feature films, shorts, documentaries, ad, television, distribution and digitizing.
Cinelab is unique in Europe in terms of how diverse its specialized services are, from digital dailies on set, thorough Kodak film representative, to color film processing for 16mm and 35mm, theatrical delivery, digital distribution, digitization, restoration, preservation, or co-production and co-finance.
