Second part:
Interactive storytelling: discussing an industry in motion with filmmaker Mirka Duijn.

We are very happy to announce that film director Mirka Duijn will be joining us for a discussion on production and creative process in VR and interactive storytelling.

Mirka Duijn is a Dutch-Finnish film director based in Amsterdam. She began her career at the public broadcasting station VPRO Digitaal, experimenting with interactive broadcasting and storytelling for television, web, and radio. Since then she has worked on a wide range of fiction and documentary films and interactive and experimental projects. Last Hijack Interactive (Submarine, Femke Wolting & Tommy Pallotta), a project for which she was the interactive director, won the Prix Europa and the International Emmy Award for Best Interactive Documentary in 2015. She is a research fellow at the professorship ‘Interactive Narrative Design’ at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht.
