MIDPOINT Shorts – Deadline Postponed Apply until July 7!

MIDPOINT Shorts is a training and networking program intended for filmmakers from all over the world (with the regional focus put on Central and Eastern Europe) with projects of professional or graduation short films

It selects teams of writers, directors and producers of short film projects in development to go through one online and two intensive residential workshops dedicated to script and project development.

Apart from creative development and structural dramaturgy, the training offers production strategies guidance, incorporates distribution strategies into the development process, focuses on presentation skills and promotion and offers insights into financing, sales and festival strategies.

The whole program concludes with the project showcase within the When East Meets West Co-production Forum, organized also in partnership with the Trieste Film Festival.

Thanks to the brand-new collaboration, after entering the shooting phase, selected MIDPOINT Shorts project graduate will get the unique chance to attend the Focus WiP of Cannes Court Métrage.
