Simona Nobile is an international script consultant, screenwriter and trainer. Her credits as story editor/creative consultant/production supervisor include the HBO documentary feature “Agnelli” (2017, directed by Nick Hooker); Romeo & Juliet” (2013), a feature directed by Carlo Carlei, written by Julian Fellowes and produced by Amber Ent./Echolake/Svarovski Ent.); and the TV productions “Il Generale della Rovere” (2011, Rai Uno) and “L’Aviatore” (2008 - Mediaset) – both directed by Carlo Carlei and produced by Rizzoli Audiovisivi.
Working as story editor/development executive for several international co-productions, Simona has identified numerous up and coming European actors, writers and directors; and has developed feature films and series for High Point Films and Television, Amber Entertainment, Bianca Film, Rizzoli Audiovisivi, Cristaldi Pictures, Graffiti Doc and Lightdog Productions.
Simona is also a Script Consultant for: Eurimages’ Council of Europe’s Coproduction Fund; the EU-funded MEDIA Development Program; EAVE, the European Producers Network; as well as the Torino Film Lab. From 2014 through 2017 she was a Member of the Italian Ministry of Culture’s Selection Committee responsible for awarding national development, production and coproduction funding for feature films. She is also a current Member of the Selection Committees for the Lazio Cinema International Fund, Piemonte Film TV Fund and Apulia Film/TV Fund.
She’s lecturer at the Università La Sapienza of Rome and active member of EWA Network and of the European Film Academy. As screenwriter she’s currently developing the feature film “Mine” and the TV series “Beauty Hunters” and “Babyland”.
