Momchil Alexiev, VR LAB Bulgaria. Momchil is the founder of the first Bulgarian VR meetup VR Lab BG. The focus of his projects is to raise a discussion on the changing conditions of film spectatorship and introduce the idea of immersiveness as a tool for storytelling.

SERIE SERIES PRESENTATION

Serie Series and Sofia Meetings will launch the first format focused on the series industry during the SIFF 2021. The discussion panels, the master class, case studies, and screenings will present the cooperation opportunities between the Balkans region and France/Western Europe. The speakers will discuss how the Balkans have been known as a great shooting location for a long time, but how we should now consider real co-pros between the two regions, with the rise of high-end drama from the Balkans and what both regions can bring to each other. Especially in the period of a global transformation of terms and rules in the film industry.
