OPEN CALL for project APPLICATIONS for the 19th SOFIA MEETINGS 2022!

We will be happy to receive your projects: 1st, 2nd or 3rd FILM PROJECT of the director.

The 19th Sofia Meetings will take place from 16th till 20th March 2022 in the framework of the 26th Sofia International Film Festival (10th – 20th March 2022)

Sofia Meetings is an event, supported by Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme of the European Commission, EA Bulgarian National Film Center and Sofia Municipality.

It modules are:

Feature Films Pitching – presentation of first, second and third feature fiction film projects of the director, looking for co-producers, sales and distribution.
TV Series Pitching - projects for TV series.
Works in Progress –  closed screenings  for non completed films at different stage of post-production or completed films looking for premiere.
Screenings are for programmers of international film festivals, sales companies and distributors.

Please send all required documents in one PDF file and don’t forget to mention (in the email) for which future project of the Director you are submitting.

European key decision-makers: producers, distributors, representatives of the film markets, sales companies, film funds, TV buyers and other film professionals from Europe and the region, as well as representatives of the key film festivals, are expected to attend the event. Besides the main programmes, we offer workshops, panels, presentations, Europe Distribution and Europa Cinemas workshop on audience development and many informal events.
