We are excited for multidisciplinary project DAU by Ilya Khrzhanovsky and Artem Vassilev, which has been pitched in Sofia Meetings, will also compete in Berlinale Competition this year with DAU. NATASHA (dir. by Ilya Khrzhanovsky and Jekaterina Oertel) while documentary DAU. DEGENERATION (dir. by Ilya Khrzhanovsky and Ilya Permyakov) will have its world premiere and special gala.
And for director Burhan Qurbani and his film BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ for entering the Berlinale Competition 2020! His feature film WE ARE YOUNG. WE ARE STRONG has been pitched as a project in Sofia Meetings 2011 and he has won our Sofia IFF'2015 International Competition Best Director Award for it.
