Anna Jadowska’s film "Woman on the Roof" was presented at 16th Sofia Meetings 2019 under working title "Mira" and little more than two years later it was selected to have its world premiere at Tribeca. The producer of the film is Maria Bilcharska, with actors Dorota Pomykala, Bogdan Koca, Adam Bobik. The co-production between Poland, France and Sweden is inspired by a true story where a 60-year-old midwife does something so extremely unexpected that it breaks her family and life apart. this is a complex character portrayal told with outstanding cinematic realism.
