MARIANA STANISHEVA
Mariana graduated the Academy of Theater and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria and hold a Masters degree in acting.
Since then, she has acted in theater and films in Bulgaria and abroad. Since 2003, she has worked as a Casting Director on more than 160 international films, with some of the greatest names in the industry - Bruce Beresford, Brian de Palma, Mimi Leder, Martin Campbell and many more.

He is a member of Italian Casting Directors Union, International Casting Directors Association and European Film Academy. He has been nominated for the Nastri D'Argento Award for casting "Via Castellana Bandiera” and “The Traitor,“ while for "Le Sorelle Macaluso,” he was nominated for the Semiramis Award in 2021.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In a two day workshop with 16 selected participants, Dan and Mariana will share their experience and showcase how Casting works in general and in different regions. You will be divided into two groups of up to 8 participants. Each group will work with each Casting Director on a specific topic.

A limited number of participants will be selected by the casting directors from all applicants.
The workshop will be conducted in English.
Sofia Meetings will not cover travel or accommodation expenses.
